COOKIE POLICY
Last updated: 30 October 2026
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website stores in your browser and can read later. Local Storage and Session Storage can provide similar functions. Session storage relates to a browser session; other storage may remain after the session ends.
2. Purposes and legal bases
This website uses the Wix platform. Storage technologies may support security, protection against attacks, session management and functions you expressly request, such as forms, bookings or protected access.
Storage and access that are strictly necessary for a digital service you expressly request fall under the exception in section 25(2)(2) of the German TDDDG. Where personal data are processed, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR may apply to a requested or booked service and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR to secure website operation, depending on the purpose.
Non-essential analytics, advertising and convenience technologies generally require prior consent under section 25(1) TDDDG; Article 6(1)(a) GDPR additionally applies where personal data are processed. Registering for a class is not consent to analytics or advertising.
Our Wix default consent setting allows the essential category and blocks the optional categories functional, analytics, advertising and data sharing with third parties. The additional live script of the Circular Text app is disabled. We use “Usercentrics for Wix” by Usercentrics GmbH to manage and document your choices. The banner is displayed in German. You can select “Ablehnen” (reject), allow individual services or change your choice through “Privatsphäre-Einstellungen” (privacy settings).
3. Wix storage and durations
Wix publishes an overview of its platform cookies. The listed cookies are used depending on functions and usage; that overview is not equivalent to a complete technical scan of this particular website visit. Examples described by Wix include:
• XSRF-TOKEN: protection against fraudulent requests; session.
• TS*: attack detection; session.
• server-session-bind and client-session-bind: API protection; session.
• svSession and wixSession: security, stability and core website functions; up to 12 months according to Wix.
• SSR-caching: caching for page delivery; up to 24 hours according to Wix.
The current complete provider overview is available at https://support.wix.com/en/article/cookies-and-your-wix-site. Additional Wix business functions or embedded apps may use further storage. Whether a specific storage operation is strictly necessary depends on its actual purpose; a provider label alone does not replace that assessment.
Usercentrics uses local browser storage in particular to retain your choice. Its service information lists uc_settings and/or ucString, uc_user_interaction and uc_ui_version, among other entries depending on configuration. The provider states that consent and withdrawal records are retained for one year and then deleted. Current purpose, data, recipient and storage details are available under “Dienste” → “Usercentrics for Wix” → “Gespeicherte Informationen” in the banner. These entries describe the service; they are not a log of every storage operation during your individual visit.
The service overview also lists Wix, the PayPal button and Boom Form including reCAPTCHA and gstatic.com. Boom Form is assigned to the optional “Funktionell” category. Service-specific storage and duration information is available in the privacy settings. A banner category alone does not replace an assessment of actual necessity.
4. Your options
You can reopen your service choices using the persistent “Privatsphäre-Einstellungen” button, switch off optional categories and save your settings. Select “Ablehnen” to reject optional services. Withdrawal applies for the future and does not affect earlier processing.
You can view and delete stored website data and limit further storage through your browser’s privacy and website settings. Deleting necessary session data may end protected access or require you to sign in again.
Consent to optional technologies must be freely given and may be withdrawn for the future. Browser settings do not replace prior consent where a service requires it. If additional optional services are introduced later, the information and corresponding consent controls must be updated beforehand.
